Supply Chain agility requires courage and humility.
Agile supply chains deploy a Demand Sensing engine to track and decipher the evolving demand patterns. The engine refreshes the demand outlook continually.
If the demand shifts, we need courage to discard the old outlook and use the new one. It’s a behaviour shift for the companies which ‘freeze’ their monthly forecast.
It also means that our earlier plans are no longer the best. Accept the updated plans with humility, instead of resisting the change.
The benefits of agility are immense.
