Covid 19 vaccine needs to be stored and transported at controlled low temperatures. It is important that these stringent requirements are met throughout the journey. Temperature sensors using IOT technology will help in recording actual temperature during storage and transportation, and system would raise necessary alerts if the limits are violated any time. Getting the whole consignment at the destination without any alerts would ensure that the vaccine efficacy is preserved in transit.
IOT location sensors would also help in tracking the consignment while in transit for faster distribution in the next leg.
