How well does your Supply Chain handle disruptions?

Mumbai got its first significant rainfall of this season today morning. And the disruption to city life is clearly visible. While some are well prepared, others are struggling to tackle it.

It’s a relatively small disruption, but it tests the preparedness of various entities. First disruptions are generally more chaotic as it often catches people off guard and some of the recovery mechanisms haven’t been tested yet.

Supply Chains are used to such disruptions. They have a recovery plan. However, this plan is really tested when the rubber meets the road! It is quite common for most of the recovery measures to turn out to be effective, excepting a few which need further improvement.

Disruptions are great for learning and making our supply chains more resilient… by design!
