Are you succeeding too often?
It sounds pretty odd, doesn’t it? Why should we be concerned if we excel at customer defined parameters consistently?
The reason is quite simple… You are too good at the current level of customer expectations. It’s time to take the bold step and tell your customers that you can be much more flexible and responsive than their current expectations.
If certain customers expect you to deliver in 5 days, you can commit to maybe a 3-day delivery. Once the customer gets used to your superior service, he would certainly put pressure on your competitors to match it.
Some organized retailers insist that any consumer product should have at least 75% of shelf life left when you deliver it. You can possibly commit to a 90% remaining shelf life, offering fresher products to consumers.
Do you think your competitors would be able to match it? Will it lead to bigger orders for you?
