Promises of a fast transformation in Supply Chain often lack credibility.
I have seen some experts promise quick turnaround of Supply Chain operations. Promises like ’30 day turnaround’ lack credibility and fail to enthuse the Supply Chain teams. These appear to be similar to a ‘30-day diet to lose 10 kg weight’.
Even if the promise is delivered, will it be sustained? Many such transformation efforts revert to the earlier ways of working after some time.
In my opinion, sustaining the improvements is far more important than promising a fast turnaround.
What do you think?
