Good news travels faster than bad news.

Supply chains generate a lot of data every day. These include several important pieces of information on how our customers and finally the consumers are being served. It is vital that such information flows seamlessly to the top management in a concise form, without getting filtered by the operating personnel.

If this information is extracted and compiled manually, summarized and then communicated to the top management, we would see good news travelling instantly, while bad news would be communicated only at the monthly review meetings.

Simple and comprehensive supply chain analytics can bridge this gap by populating a status dashboard in an auto pilot mode. If we have missed major customer orders or if the store orders are showing a declining trend, these should be surfaced to the management at the earliest so that requisite corrective actions can be taken well in time.
